Interpretation of the pen in a dream by Ibn Sirin

The pen is mentioned in the book “Interpretation of Dreams,” attributed to Sheikh Ibn Shirin, in the forty-fifth chapter, which is a chapter dedicated to the interpretation of writing, ink, paper, writing, and poetry. Where Ibn Sirin says in his interpretation of a dream about a pen: The pen in a dream refers to what reminds the person with whom decisions are implemented or because of him, and it is a symbol of the ruler, authority, the world, language, as well as the sword and the male child. The ink or ink in the interpretation is the power of a person and can indicate his seed and planting. In interpretation, the pen refers to truth and justice, and writing with a pen indicates an increase in vision or insight, which is the believer’s awareness and hopes when awake. It is said in interpretation: The pen in dreams indicates knowledge, so whoever sees in his dream that he is tapping with a pen will benefit from knowledge that matches what he saw in the dream. His dream, as if he was writing, scribbling, recording, or recording it. It was said: The pen in a dream indicates sponsorship or sponsorship, as God Almighty said in Surat Al-Imran, verse (44): It is said in this context of interpretation: That a man said to Ibn Sirin: I saw that I was sitting next to a pen, so I took it and began to write with it, and I saw another pen to my right, So he took and wrote both together. The man said yes. Ibn Shirin said: It is as if the absent person returns to you. And perhaps this man was a long lost boy. If a writer sees in his dream that he is holding a pen in his right hand or an inkwell, then he is safe from poverty because of his art. The barber who holds the scissors, or the butcher who holds the knife, or the carpenter who holds... The saw. The sharpener with which a pen is sharpened in a dream may indicate a good daughter or a jealous son, because in interpretation it is equivalent to a knife and all sharp tools. The pen in interpretation is a command and prohibition or a commandment, and it was also said: The pen is the head of laws and laws. The pen in dreams indicates a son. Or the writer, the legislator, or the judge.
